We are looking for an enthusiastic & dedicated Speech Pathologist who is ready to take the exciting next step to become a Clinical Champion!
My client has three state of the art speech therapy clinics across Sydney’s North Shore providing bright, positive spaces with oodles of cutting-edge resources to take advantage of. As a finalist of the 2023 Australian Allied Health Awards, you will join a team of dedicated and supportive therapists, delivering high quality Speech Pathology services to children and families in the North Shore region.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be a role model for delivering high quality, evidence-based clinical services and implementing policies and procedures. Identify areas for own personal and clinical growth and identify appropriate learning opportunities.
- Identify professional development needs and opportunities for the whole team in clinical specialty.
- Work with the leadership team to plan, develop and evaluate evidence based, timely and cost-effective services for targeted clinical groups.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of evidence-based practice (E3BP) in the area of clinical specialty and work with the leadership team to facilitate implementation of E3BP.
- Participate in induction and onboarding of new therapists including providing new therapist shadowing and training as requested by Clinic Manager and/or Clinical Lead.
- Attend and contribute to weekly team meetings.
- Delivering Presentations or organising of education sessions/ involvement at community events, family groups, clubs, events etc.
- Bachelor of Speech Pathology, Masters of Speech Pathology or equivalent.
- Valid SPA registration with Speech Pathology Australia as a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist.
- Working With Children Check and full vaccination status.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills and time management skills.
- At least 3 years post graduate clinical experience.
- Post graduate experience working in area of clinical specialty.
