What you'll be doing
The Brighter Beginnings initiative is a collaboration between NSW Health and NSW Department of Education to implement preschool health and development checks. The Speech Pathology Student Educator will develop, coordinate and deliver screening, assessment, provision of recommendations and interventions through a student led model, to children in the Early Education setting.
The Student Educator is responsible for providing clinical supervision, teaching and co-ordination of educational activities for Speech Pathology students on clinical placements. This involves liaison with education providers regarding educational outcomes of the clinical placement and student education and placement quality evaluation.
The Speech Pathology Student Educator will also work in the Allied Health education team to provide education to Allied Health staff across Southern NSW Health Local Health District (SNSWLHD).
