Job description

We're not your typical run-of-the-mill Allied Health Position (and proud of it).

Do you wake up every day and DREAD going to work?  Does every workday start to look the same?

The team at Advanced Therapy Mackay is built differently. We know many workplaces say, “We're like a family”, but at Advanced Therapy, we actually mean it. We are not a desk-based team producing paper-based assessments; we walk the journey with each client and their support team. We communicate well and know it is key to supporting our clients and providing practical advice, training and therapy whenever, wherever needed.

Locally owned and operating since 2020,

  • We are dedicated to providing service excellence in Positive Behaviour Support, Individual Therapy and Allied Health Services.
  • We are NDIS Registered Provider with full Certification.
  • We are committed to treating our clients with dignity and respect in a safe and secure environment.
  • We pride ourselves on our authentic relationships with our clients.

The team is made up of eight practitioners with a combined experience of over 60 years in Social Work, Education, Psychology, Disability and Mental Health. You will be made to feel welcome and supported as you transition into your position.

Are you ready for a change?

The role will be a dual position where you service clients requiring assessments and therapy specific to your profession.  However, the difference is that you will also receive the mentoring and training to become a NDIS Registered- Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner.
