The Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Reservations and Events Team Lead to join our exceptional team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Head of Reservations and Events, the Team Leader will be responsible for leading a dedicated team of Reservations and Events Coordinators to create unforgettable experiences for Anyday's guests.
Please note this is a Monday-to-Friday role. However, given our seven-day operation, occasional weekend work may be required as needed.
The Responsibility
- Oversee, monitor and delegate the day-to-day duties of the wider Reservations and Events team.
- Provide support and guidance to the team to assist with problem-solving and guest relations.
- End-to-end management of both events and reservations to meet the client and business requirements.
- Collaboration with the Restaurant team to ensure smooth on-the-day execution of Reservations and Events.
- Maxmise floorplans and offerings to increase covers booked for reservations.
- Conduct site visits and meetings with clients to showcase venues and discuss event details.
- Attend on-the-day client meet and greet and oversee event set up for VIP and larger events.
- Cultivate and maintain partnerships with relevant parties to ensure continued relationships and return business.
- Maintain and update event offering documents documentation, client files, and software
- Assist with Reservations calls and emails as needed.
The Prerequisites
- Proven experience in event management and reservations management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills.
- Familiarity with the hospitality industry and venue management.
- Advanced computer literacy and ability to manage multiple software platforms.
- Previous experience with SevenRooms program will be highly regarded
