The position 
The Sports Program Manager is responsible for leading an engaging and inclusive Junior & Senior School Sport Program, where students can develop a life-long passion for sport (both competitive and non-competitive).

The position will be required to manage a variety of different Sports Programs with vision and energy, while reporting to the Head of Sport.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Being responsible for leading, planning, coordination and administration of the Junior/Senior School Sports Program;
  • Overseeing and supervising coaching, training sessions, including team selections in a variety of sports;
  • Preparation, support and supervision of competitive and non-competitive programs within the Junior/Senior School, including weekend fixtures, morning and after-school training sessions;
  • Oversee fortnightly sport program (Junior School), organising teachers and coaches to support the Sports Program;
  • Develop Junior School sporting programs that are age appropriate;
  • Assist TiC and Head of Sport with travel of sporting groups (both interstate and international);
  • Provide support as requested to HPE teachers with school and representative sport administration; including regional events, SSACT carnivals and interstate competitions. Travel may be required;
  • Administration of team registrations in competitive sports, summer and winter;
  • Assist with the organisation of Gala Days, including having the ability to coach/supervise students;
