Details: The ACT Health Directorate is a key part of the ACT’s health system and aims to improve the health outcomes of people living in the ACT. We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated leader with sound executive management and people leadership skills for the role of the Executive Group Manager, Policy, Partnerships and Programs Division (EGM PPP). The EGM PPP is a key leadership role with responsibility for health data and analytics, First Nations Health policy, and broader health policy including Voluntary Assisted Dying, LGBTIQ+ health, primary care, and intergovernmental relations. The role also has critical accountability for a range of actions implementing the National Agreement on Closing the Gap, and the ACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Agreement 2019-2028.
The successful applicant will provide outstanding leadership, communicate professionally and work with flexibility, efficiency and diplomacy both individually and as the lead of a highly skilled team. They will be a champion of people from diverse backgrounds, perspectives and experiences and be able to harness this diversity to strengthen their team and drive innovation.
The successful applicant will model the ACT Public Service values of respect, integrity, collaboration and innovation. They will also have deep knowledge of the National Agreement on Closing the Gap, and the ACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Agreement 2019-2028.
Remuneration: The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $368,020 - $382,772 depending on the current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $327,821.
Contract: The successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for a period of up to five years. Prospective applicants should be aware that long-term engagements are tabled in the ACT Legislative Assembly.
