About the role
This role requires a Spray Painters Assistant who has, or who is willing to gain, experiance in the joinery painting and polishing industry.
Duties and Responsabillities
- Assisting our team of professional Spray painters and Furniture polishers with lifting, carrying, preparation etc.
- Preparing and masking Timber and MDF Joinery
- Sanding lacquer sealers and undercoats
- Wrapping finished goods
- Loading and unloading trucks
- General cleaning and maintanence
- Quality control of all your work to meet the standards set by management
- You can apply to participate in our ongoing trade training program
Skills and Experience
- First and foremost a positive attitude is paramount.
- Some work experience is preferred in either automotive or cabinetry painting/polishing but this is not essential if you are the right person for the job
- Working along side our team of qualified tradesman you will be given ample oppurtunity to fine tune some skills if they are new to you and also to learn many new skills within the polishing and painting industry.
- We actively seek to upskill all our team members so you will be given many oppurtunities to learn a new trade

- Our Knoxfield factory require a Trades Assistants to work along side our team of professional polishers and spray painters. We supply a consistent high standard of work to our clients and as such the successful candidate will be expected to strive to consistently meet those standards. Our entire team works together with a unified goal of quality workmanship with everyone supporting each other in this goal
- We constantly train all our team to improve their skills, the majority of our Assistants have gone on to become trained polishers and spray painters
- Normal Hours are 38 per week with overtime available during much of the year, but we also offer variable work hours to accomodate your specific needs
