The Opportunity.
Due to Fulton Hogan’s ongoing growth within the Region, we are looking for experienced Sprayman/Leading Hand to join our Sprayed Seals team and deliver the good work Fulton Hogan is known for.
It’s a big job.
- You will be the primary spray operator for the new FibreDec Multisprayer
- You will be responsible for implementing and initiating work activities within a team which is overseen by a Foreman/Supervisor.
- You will act as escalation point for less experienced staff. Operate other sprayed seals machinery as needed and hold higher skills (highly skilled worker).
- Assists Foreman/supports Supervisor with daily workflow requirements.
- Ensure the FibreDec sprayer is always in excellent condition.
- Checks other machinery and equipment is in good working order.
- Assists with training less skilled staff on the correct operation of machinery and equipment.
- Your experience operating a wide range of sprayed seals equipment will be essential in this position. There is also the opportunity to upskill within this department and/or division.
What you will bring to the table:
- Class 1,2 and 4 license and WTR endorsements advantageous.
- 4-5 years’ experience in the surfacing/construction industry/STMS.
- In-depth knowledge and sprayed sealing experience including binders and emulsions
- An unwavering commitment towards living safely with a safety record to match.
- Excellent time management skills and punctuality.
- Motivated to work in a small, highly functioning team.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be self-motivated & driven to succeed.
