AbilitySeer is a growing, registered NDIS provider, looking for a client liaison and Rostering Officer to join our busy team.
AbilitySeer provide tailored in home supports and social and community participation to clients in ACT & NSW, to NDIS participants with complex physical and psycho-social support needs.
We deliver client focused, responsive, care and support to our clients.
A typical day can involve:
- Preparing an efficient roster for NDIS visits;
- Daily communication with clients to organise support staff and services that best meet their needs;
- Rescheduling visits to cover unplanned changes to staff or client circumstances;
- Maintaining client and staff files within the Client Management System;
- Liaising with NDIS support coordinators and other stakeholders to deliver planned services for client

The successful candidate will need to have a current Working with Vulnerable People Clearance, Police Check, First Aid Certificate, and have completed NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Modules.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Scheduling:
Responsibility for a list of client's day to day rostering requirements, across the direct support division with varied shift requirements;
Direct and allocate resources as needed, ensuring that suitable and appropriate team members are allocated to participants, ensuring that business processes are followed and expectations appropriately managed;
Analyse and interpret scheduling data, and be able to ascertain whether certain shifts are regular and ongoing, or are one off shifts, and to seek assistance from other team members when unsure;
Escalate any shifts that are unable to be filled and/or service issues within appropriate timeframes and procedures;
Work closely with support coordinators, the Business Manager, Finance Manager, and Managing Director, and other team members and stakeholders, to ensure that participants are allocated to the most suitable and appropriate team members based upon the participant's preferences and staff's level of experience and skill set;
Update and maintain the AbilitySeer rostering systems and shared drive as changes occur;
Establish close working relationship with Guardians, and other Stakeholders;
Provide support to NDIS participants when required, and other duties as directed by the Finance Manager, Business Manager and Managing Director;
Ensure that shifts are filled in a timely manner and in such a way as to ensure minimum disruption to participants;
Ensure that support worker hours are regularly monitored and do not exceed a maximum number of hours per fortnight;
Input new participant data, and new employee data, and ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed.
Human Resources / Staff Admin
In addition, The Staff Admin and Rostering Officer will also be responsible for creating new direct-support client profiles in ShiftCare, OneDrive, and Hardcopy, as well as creating Service Agreements.
The Staff Admin and Rostering Officer will also be responsible for shortlisting and interviewing staff, conducting compliance checks, onboarding new staff, creating profiles for new staff, planning, and delivering staff induction training, arranging buddy shifts for new , inexperienced staff, and liaising with the Governance and Compliance Manager regarding internal audits of HR files. The Staff Admin and Rostering Officer will develop a sound understanding of the NDIS price guide, and the Schads Award.
