About the Role
Are you an experienced Technical Lead passionate about IT/AV looking for that next step and able to lead a small Stage & Test team.
Engagis is looking to expand our management team and requires someone who is passionate about technology and has qualities and/or experience using their technical knowledge to lead a small team. This role will be both Managerial and Hands On.
The stage and test team are responsible for technical hardware build and testing of all hardware / software components prior to deployment and installation to our customers.
This position will be based out of our Braeside warehouse.
About the Opportunity
This is a hands-on role Managerial role leading a small team of 3. You will have familiarity with computer hardware & peripherals, displays and which culminates to form digital signage solutions and experiences for our customers.
Key duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Daily Scrums with Project Management team.
- Weekly PoW meetings with Stage & Test team.
- Update Stage & Test team on respective projects to ensure completed to deadlines.
- Work closely with Technical Project Manager to deliver technical projects with ease.
- Work closely with Melbourne Operations Lead to run the operations cohesively.
- Set up the Staging handover process for when the Sales team wins the opportunity, especially applicable to complex / non-BAU projects.
- Review staging handovers from DA / PMO teams to ensure you have visibility into the solutions required to stage and test. Make sure the request is reasonable within the timeframe and to potentially identify any solution defects and push back up to pre-sales team.
- Be hands on with Staging and Testing of hardware as needed.
Your Experience - To be successful in this role you will have
- 8-10 years proven experience including staging and testing and maintenance of electronic devices. Technical product knowledge including TVs / Computers / Video Audio / Digital Signage / Touch Screen Kiosks / IT or equivalent industry.
- 3-5 years in Team Leader role.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive and productive relationships with your team and other stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Computer skills - MS Word, Excel, Outlook & Microsoft 365.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
