What you will be doing?
This role assumes a crucial retail leadership role, tasked with overseeing retail operations within a designated geographic area. Ultimately, your role is to drive business success, foster operational excellence, and enhance customer satisfaction. You will drive sales growth through strategic planning, manage and motivate store teams, ensure operational efficiency, and optimise customer experiences. Additionally, you will monitor financial performance, and maintain regulatory compliance. You will lead and mentor a team of Regional Managers, Store Managers, and frontline teams to ensure alignment with company goals and values.
Key accountabilities;
- Foster team engagement and build a high-performing team culture through effective communication, coaching, and recognition programs.
- Monitor and analyse market trends, competition, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to optimise performance and achieve business objectives.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, product quality, and brand consistency throughout all retail locations.
- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
Who are you?
- 5+ years’ experience in a Regional, State or National multi-site role
- Exceptional knowledge of the Retail Award
- Demonstrated experience managing teams from the front and remotely
- Strong leadership with the ability to inspire and develop teams
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- The ability to effectively prepare and analyse rosters cost to achieve targets
- Be strategic with stock management to ensure opportunities are maximised within the states
- Strong interpersonal skills to lead and manage our store teams
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Highly motivating and influential
- Able to think on your feet and make necessary decisions and changes in the moment (within guidelines)
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be agile
