Position Summary:
As the Victorian State Manager at L+R Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our multi-disciplinary consulting business division in Victoria. You'll work closely with the General Manager, Operations Manager, Executive team, and other Division Managers to ensure seamless administrative and project-related functions. Your responsibilities will encompass resource management, technical excellence, financial success, and strategic development to uphold our company's vision and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee management of budgets, margins and debtors to ensure profitability after corporate overheads and KPI’s can be achieved.
- Collaborate on business strategy development and execution, fostering cross-discipline connections.
- Drive business development efforts, focusing on client retention and growth through annual business plans.
- Ensure excellence in project delivery by maintaining qualified technical resources and implementing best practices.
- Manage human resources activities such as recruitment, remuneration, training, performance management, professional development and staff retention.
- Uphold quality, OHS, and environmental standards through regular audits and compliance.
- Achieve key performance indicators including margin targets and revenue growth targets, financial deadlines, debtor turnover, OHS and QA compliance, and contribution to strategic goals.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing teams and driving performance.
- Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and profit optimisation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the capability to develop and execute business plans to achieve organisational goals.
- Demonstrated experience in business development and client relationship management.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and ensuring quality project delivery.
- Commitment to fostering a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility within the organization.
- Relevant qualifications in engineering is essential.
- RBP Victoria would be desirable.
