Job description

Angle Auto Finance is an independent financier in Australia, bringing a modern platform and a flexible business approach to help more Australians with their car purchase.

The State Training Manager is responsible for creating and delivering performance improvement programs in collaboration with the Commercial Team account managers to our highly value dealer partners and novated introducers. You will work in the Commercial Excellence Angle Edge Team. 

Working with heads of, state managers, and account managers, you will be in charge of all thing’s sales development. This includes developing workshops that work to closing the gaps in our partners sales funnel so that they can drive greater financial performance which assist in achieving Angle Auto Finance budgets. 

No day will be the same and you will interact with many people from all walks of life as you visit dealerships across your allocated region. You’ll be seen as a source of information, inspiration, and as a coach to many in the automotive finance space and will help to coach and develop the people we partner with to become high performing teams and individuals. 

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Work with the Commercial Team to deliver on partner performance benchmarks
  • Collaborate with State Managers and Account Managers to identify growth opportunities where dealer and novated introducer performance is below benchmark
  • Conduct needs analysis of identified sites to understand how performance can be improved and maintained
  • Deliver workshops and facilitate training programs to partners and internal sales teams for performance growth 
  • Conduct one on one coaching with clients to understand performance gaps and deliver the correct guidance to close the gaps 

Qualifications and Experience;

  • Experience in sales management, training, account management or business management capacity within the retail, auto, sales, public, or finance industry
  • Deep understanding of consumer and commercial finance products and processes
  • High level understanding of the Novated Lease Market and salary packaging
  • Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Experience in training and facilitation, program implementation, and/or workshop and speech delivery 
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis linking behaviours to outcomes
  • Ability to find creative solutions (problem solve) when facing systemic, behavioural or skill-based challenges
