Through a recent restructure, Soudan Station, formerly an outstation of Alexandria, will now operate independently, creating an exciting opportunity for a Station Hand to join the Soudan crew. Soudan Station runs approx. 22,000 head of cattle and is located on the Barkly Highway, 1 hour west of Camooweal.Ideally the successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience working on a cattle station as a Station Hand
- Have experience working with cattle
- Be a confident horse rider or motorbike rider
- Be able to flex across mustering, fencing, checking waters, lick runs and other general station duties as required by immediate supervisor
- Be able to work in a team or on your own
- Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Permanent full-time position

- We invest heavily in on-the-job training and all staff are offered and encouraged to complete a traineeship in Agriculture.
