The North Australian Pastoral Company (NAPCo) was founded in 1877 and is one of Australia's leading beef cattle companies, managing over 6.1 million hectares and home of Australia's First Carbon Neutral Beef - Five Founders. Through a recent restructure, Soudan Station, formerly an outstation of Alexandria, will now operate independently, creating an exciting opportunity for a Station Hand to join the Soudan crew. Soudan Station runs approx. 22,000 head of cattle and is located on the Barkly Highway, 1 hour west of Camooweal.Ideally the successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience working on a cattle station as a Station Hand
- Have experience working with cattle
- Be a confident horse rider or motorbike rider
- Be able to flex across mustering, fencing, checking waters, lick runs and other general station duties as required by immediate supervisor
- Be able to work in a team or on your own
- Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Permanent full-time position
