About the position Council’s Development Services Department is looking for a Statutory Planning Support Officer who will be responsible for providing efficient and timely administrative support for the Statutory Planning Unit.  The main responsibilities will include:  Provide prompt and efficient customer service by attending front reception, answering telephone enquiries and responding to email enquiries. Undertake an extensive range of administrative duties to facilitate the planning permit process. Participate and contribute to continuous process improvements. This is a permanent full-time position.  About you Strong oral communication skills and ability to liaise with staff members and the general public on a range of matters. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and commit to team values and targets. High level of computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
