Steel Detailer Modeller - Vertex Bd

Our client is a well-established fabrication company specialising in light gauge steel (LGS) production and solutions.
Due to continued business growth, they are seeking an experienced Vertex BD Detailer join their experienced project team.
This role will not only provide you with an opportunity to further develop your detailing experience with a market leader but also provide some great exposure to engineering design 

Ideally you will have:
 

• Detailing and modelling software experience using Vertex BD
• Exposure to local commercial, residential and industrial building projects. 
• Knowledge of general construction and engineering design processes, including Structural Steel  (essential) 
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• University or TAFE training in residential or commercial drafting is a significant advantage.
• Eagerness to contribute to our design and engineering team's ongoing success.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines.

• Review architectural and structural drawings to prepare detailed models.
• Prepare and modify existing drawings for final stages
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Liaise with engineering design team to coordinate works and ensure design accuracy
