Steel Detailer - Tekla

Our client is a well-established Engineering consultancy with expertise in providing design solutions for commercial and heavy & light industrial projects.
Due to new projects they are seeking an experienced Steel Detailer to join their experienced design team.
This role is temporary and will provide you with an opportunity to engage with a market leader in commercial and industrial design and contribute to projects that shape Australia's economy.
Ideally you will have:

• Detailing experience with Tekla software for commercial and industrial projects essential
• Knowledge of steel manufacturing, fabrication and construction processes.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proven experience with set outs and shop drawings.
• Eagerness to contribute to our design and engineering team's ongoing success.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:.

• Review architectural and structural drawings to prepare detailed models.
• Prepare and modify existing drawings for manufacturing.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Liaise with fabrication team and engineers to coordinate works and ensure design accuracy.
