Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and acknowledgment of tenders/quotations
- Liaising and working closely with the sales team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Reviewing project documentation such as blueprints, drawings and specifications
- preparation of cost estimates in a timely and efficient manner
- Previous experience working as a Steel Estimator and pricing steel components is essential
- Strong knowledge and understanding using quality management systems
- Proficiency using design applications such as CAD/CAM software and 3D Design Software is essential
- Programming background would be highly desirable but not essential
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work within tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong work ethic with a self-starter, proactive and results driven approach
