We are well positioned for continuing growth in Australia and seek an initiative-taking individual to join our Sydney team. We are a fully owned Australian family business located across manufacturing and distribution sites in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and South Australia.
We are looking for a full-time Tradesman / Steel Fabricator to join our team at Ingleburn NSW.
You will be an energetic person, with steel industry experience, excellent communication and tenacity to work through the daily demands of a fabrication industry. A thirst for learning is required to develop your knowledge of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Steel fabrication experience.
- Pipe Bending Preferred but not essential.
- Handrail and or balustrade assembly.
- Mig Welding, Oxy Cutting, Saw cutting.
- Ready to take the next step as 2nd In Charge to your Supervisor and lead as required.
- Able to work Monday through Friday and overtime when requested plus the occasional Saturday.
- Self-motivated and willing to learn various duties.
- Be physically fit and able to complete work in summer & winter warehouse conditions.
- Assist in Warehouse when and if required.
Experience:
A Fabricating background in the Steel Industry, desirable but not essential
- Trade Qualified or Equivalent.
- Ability to read and fabricate from workshop drawings is a must.
- A Current Forklift License preferred but not essential. Experience forklift driving desirable.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to use your initiative and work within a team environment.
- Immediate start available.
