Steel Sales Supervisor (Cowra)

Power Tools Plus, a leading steel and hardware supplier in the Central NSW area, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Steel Supervisor. This role is crucial for ensuring operational excellence in stock management and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate stock levels and counts.
• Minimise stock costings with informed buying practices.
• Efficiently handle reordering, customer deliveries, and special orders.
• Facilitate transfer of goods between branches.
• Provide competitive customer quotes.
• Navigate internal POS systems and customer reordering portals with accuracy and efficiency.
• Liaise with upper management for support and guidance.
• Perform accurate mathematical calculations for stock and orders.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of our product range.
• Proven ability to navigate complex inventory systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Capability to handle special customer requests with a proactive approach.
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work Saturday mornings (usually fortnightly)
• Commitment to upholding Workplace Health and Safety
• Computer and admin skills
• Current driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Forklift ticket and MR truck licence (or above).
• Experience in building, fabrication, or Steel Sales.
• Retail experience and good computer literacy.
• A helpful and friendly attitude towards customers and colleagues.
