About The Role
We currently have a vacancy for a professional, self-motivated individual with proven account development and negotiation skills to join our Sales Team in NSW as Sales Representative. Based at our NSW site and reporting to the General Manager this role will have you responsible for a group of customers as well as business development.
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Implementation of sales strategies to increase our revenue growth.
- Achieve sales and margin budgets.
- Assist with internal sales requirements.
- Calling on current customers and unlocking new opportunities.
About You
To be successful in this role it is essential that you possess the following key skills and attributes:
- Proven ability to achieve product representation and margin realization in a competitive landscape.
- Experience dealing with solution-based customers.
- Knowledge of, or previous experience dealing with Steel sheet and coil preferred.
- Proven ability to achieve sales through effective communication and negotiations.
- Solution selling skills to gain new business whilst maintaining existing accounts.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Basic computer skills for Word and Excel.
- The ability to work in a team environment and autonomously.
You will be results orientated, with business acumen to understand your customers business. A demonstrated ability to present relevant quality information to a wide customer base will be essential. Ideally you will be experienced in field sales and have the ability to motivate, persuade and influence decision makers to ensure the achievement of sales objectives.
