Combined role for an experienced Stock Controller with Dispensary Tech duties. This role will have you working a rotating roster between 2 of our stores in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. - Combined Stock Controller / Dispensary Technician – Full Time
- Z Dispense and stock monitoring experience is preferred, but not essential
- Offering above award hourly rates
- Role is suited to an experienced Dispensary Tech, Stock Controller, or even an experienced Pharmacy Assistant looking for a change.
- Must have experience within Community Pharmacy.
- Work with a friendly and supportive team, mentored by our leadership team.
Our Stock Controller/Dispensary Technician will ensure our pharmacy is running smoothly with the right amount of stock, at the best possible price. You will also be responsible for assisting with scripts in/out, dispensing and supporting general dispensary administration.
Key attributes that we are looking for include:
- Experience as a Stock Controller and/or with Dispensing is required.
- Service focussed with clear and effective communication skills
- It is expected that you can work with Stock monitoring software; vital to this role.
- Strong administration; Computer literacy is expected - must be competent in Excel, Word, etc
- Minimum qualification of Cert 2/3 Community Pharmacy preferred, not essential
- Flexibility if offered extra hours to cover annual leave or at short notice
Roles and Responsibilities
- Must be willing to work between two of our stores in the Northen Melbourne suburbs; on a rotating roster.
- Order, maintain and replenish stock; including management of invoices
- Ensure all merchandising and promotional activity is maintained
- Monitor stock performance, rebates and ensure stock is maintained to agreed budgeted levels.
- Comply with stock weights for each SKU to the agreed levels.
- Greet customers and proactively ask them if they need assistance, and refer to the Pharmacist as required
- Accept prescriptions to be dispensed
- Dispensing prescriptions to be checked by the Pharmacist
- Maintain the presentation of the store, dispensing and service areas
- Process sales through the till
- Ensuring customer experience in store is at the highest level
Hours and wages will be negotiated depending on the experience and skill set of the applicant.
