  Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing and managing all operational aspects of W'Gusto Supermarket, including sales, customer service, and inventory control.
• Train, oversee, and assess store personnel to maintain high performance levels and uphold company policies.
• Create and execute strategies to enhance sales and reach financial objectives at W'Gusto Supermarket Pelican Waters.
• Ensure the store is consistently well-stocked, tidy, and organized to uphold W'Gusto Supermarket’s high standards.
• Monitor and manage expenses to achieve budget targets while preserving the W'Gusto brand.
• Establish and maintain tailored loss prevention methods for W'Gusto.
• Cultivate a positive and cooperative work environment among W'Gusto employees.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and address customer inquiries and issues following W'Gusto guidelines.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to guarantee a steady supply of quality W'Gusto-specific products.
• Implement marketing and promotional tactics to boost store traffic and sales in line with W'Gusto's image.
• Maintain precise financial and sales documentation for W'Gusto.
• Introduce and efficiently handle staff rostering.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated background as a Store Manager or in a similar leadership position in the retail field, with a preference for experience in the supermarket industry, particularly within the supermarket sector.
• Robust leadership and team management capabilities customized for the W'Gusto team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, vital for collaboration with W'Gusto staff and customers.
• Familiarity with supermarket procedures, inventory control, and merchandising specifics related to W'Gusto.
• Understanding of health and safety standards, emphasizing W'Gusto's safety guidelines.
• Proficiency in utilizing POS systems (GAP) and other retail applications, including those used by W'Gusto.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities essential for addressing W'Gusto's distinct challenges.
• Capacity to perform well under pressure, handle demanding circumstances, and uphold W'Gusto's principles and values.
