The Role We are seeking a self-motivated and well-organised individual to join our team as a Store Person with the Town of Port Hedland. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining excellent rapport with Council staff while handling various aspects of stores work, including issuing, purchasing, receipting, delivery, and dispatch of goods and equipment. Reporting to the Warehousing & Purchasing Coordinator, you will develop store processes and work programs, whilst demonstrating strong computer skills with accurate and timely data entry. The primary purpose of this role is to assist in ordering and sourcing operational resources, ensuring all works contribute to delivering strategic outcomes for the Town of Port Hedland. You will be joining the team at an exciting time as the Town embarks on a culture of change with embracing of a wide range of new technologies, a large capitals works program, and a number of other projects that make the Town a desirable place to live and work.
