Position Objective - Superintendent Mobile Equipment Maintenance
We seek to recruit a highly experienced and motivated Mobile Equipment Maintenance Superintendent who is responsible for maintaining a safe and reliable Mobile Equipment fleet focused on our Underground Operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the full spectrum of maintenance activities for the Mobile Equipment onsite
- Ensure Mobile Equipment is maintained according to agreed schedule and quality levels
- Monitor and maintenance performance against plan and respond according
- Develop and manage capital projects within area of accountability
- Prepare month-end reports against KPIs and other objectives
- Establish objectives for the group, including risk reduction, utilisation, quality, cost and productivity
- Analyse / report results and learning’s to assist in the development of improvement initiatives
- Work with other Maintenance Superintendents to further develop site maintenance strategies
- Coordinate and manage projects within area of accountability, to achieve completion to agreed quality, budget and schedule
- Develop and monitor targets for milestones and improvements in deliverable outcomes
To be suitable for this role, you will possess the following:
- Recognised Trade Certificate in the Heavy Equipment Fitting (HEF) discipline
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a relevant area (preferably mining or heavy industry)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior supervisory role in a relevant area
- Post-trade qualifications such as Maintenance Management (desirable)
- Proven experience in training and developing a national workforce
- Significant experience in leading a team in providing project services in mining and minerals processing
- Demonstrated customer-oriented approach by managing, monitoring and reporting service delivery
- Contractor management experience.
