The Opportunity:
A newly created opening due to internal succession plans, the Maintenance Scheduler will maintain the data in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and manage all work orders and requests. You will provide support for the planning and scheduling of asset and facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on building and developing maintenance processes and plans. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Dispatching planned maintenance work orders to all subcontractors and internal Maintenance Officers.
- Administering the systems and processes within the CMMS, necessary for undertaking maintenance activities.
- Data entry of asset information and history across one system to another
- Triaging fixed asset reactive work orders; and coordinating and controlling day to day maintenance activities to optimise resource use, minimise costs and maintain quality standards.
- Preparing ongoing planned maintenance schedules aligned to available resources and budgets to ensure the execution of works and extend the life expectancy of equipment and facilities.
- Re-evaluating maintenance schedules to reduce the impact on operations to minimise downtime and operational interruptions.
- Coordinating works with contractors for routine and reactive repair and maintenance tasks in all areas of plumbing, drainage, buildings
- Providing support concerning the preparation of planned maintenance plans, preparation of annual budgets and lifecycle plans.
