Due to the continued success and evolution of Downer Energy, our Electricity Networks team are seeking a Storeperson to bolster our depot crew based in Lilydale.
Reporting to the Inventory Controller, the Storeperson ensures field crews, delivery partners and internal staff are set up for success. The Storeperson is responsible for the efficient management of stock, client assets and the receipt of deliveries to various sites. Zero Harm is at the forefront of what we do. To ensure safety is our biggest priority, this role will involve liaising with staff to ensure the appropriate authorisations, escalation of quality issues and hazards to ensure compliance.
ABOUT YOU
- Prior warehouse/store experience, ideally within a large multi-disciplinary organisation.
- Proven experience performing stock control and ordering activities.
- Demonstrated experience liaising with internal customers to ensure timely supply, preparation and availability of materials.
- SAP & JDEGS knowledge desirable but not essential.
- Forklift license required.
- MR/HR license desirable but not essential.
- The ability to manage conflicting priorities, maintain a positive attitude and liaise with various internal/external stakeholders.
