Zancott Recruitment are seeking warehousing and stores people to work in Edinburgh for a logistics and distribution centre that supplies goods across Australia.
We are currently seeking people with a strong safety commitment, willingness and attitude to work in warehousing, logistics and distribution. Some proficiency with computers for using SAP warehousing systems highly regarded.
Position duties:
- Operating manual handling equipment (MHE).
- Carrying out picking, receipting, inventory and stock control of a range of products.
- Packing and despatching to customer demands.
- Manage and maintain the data entry of all work carried out.
- Assist with stock discrepancies and investigations as required.
- Issuing counter demands.
- Ensuring that all tasks are completed within contractual time frames.
- Use MS Office suite and SAP.
Required skills and capabilities:
- A current Forklift license LF would be an advantage.
- LO license (stock picker) would be an advantage.
- Previous warehousing/stores experience - in a similar industry is preferable however not essential.
- Ability to work unsupervised and commit to undertaking all work safely and efficiently.
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Office - intermediate Excel) and has the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
Prior to the placement all successful applicants will be required to complete and clear a National Police Check and complete a Fit for Work Assessment and Drug & Alcohol screen.
Applicants will require eligibility to obtain a minimum level of Baseline security clearance as determined by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency
