Based locally at our Geraldton Depot, this role will see you manage and maintain the regional and district stores materials, inventory, consumables, and tools.  Ensuring goods receipting, parts and materials dispatch, stock takes, parts maintenance and materials returns.

A little bit about you

A high level of innovation and work efficiency is fundamental.  You will be able to work independently. Outstanding organisational and time management skills are a must, as well as very good communication skills as you will be required to interact extensively with the Operations Group.

You are exceptionally flexible and adaptable in this highly attentive role. You are an ambitious person whereby you are willing to take on accountabilities, are not afraid to ask questions, and truly demonstrate our taking personal ownership value.

What You’ll do

• Manage the regional inventory store (Geraldton) and monitor, advise and support district stores in Moora and Carnarvon.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the regional store, including receipting, handling, storage, transfer and issue of inventory goods and materials.
• Conduct regular routine stocktakes.
• As a member of the Stores Technical Working Group (Operations Group), participate in improvements to related work process and procedures.
• Act as the primary regional liaison for Procurement & Property Branch related to purchasing and stores matters.
• Procure non-stock goods and materials utilising e-Procurement. 
• Monitor stock levels and liaise with Operations Managers and Team Leaders on changes to improve store performance.
• General warehouse duties including security and housekeeping.

Regional allowance for Geraldton $3,309 (for single rate)

Your skills and experience

• Current C Class driver’s licence (essential)
• Current Forklift licence (essential)
• Considerable experience in warehousing and logistics.
• Relevant experience in the use of inventory management systems
• Strong attention to detail, organised with good time management skills.
• High performing team player with the ability to communicate effectively and provide a high-quality customer focussed service.
• Relevant experience in the use of inventory management systems
