Our work varies from day to day, including activities such as purchasing, stock handling either manually or by operating a variety of equipment, and managing both inventory stock and non-stock material.

About the positions: The Stores/Purchasing Officer position is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of stores, including ordering, receiving and issuing of stores items and materials, along with management of non-stock material in accordance with policies and procedures.
This is a permanent full-time position based at the Goombungee Depot. The annual salary range for this Level 2 position is $63,038.90 - $68,282.40 gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation. The Stores Officer
- Procurement position is responsible for the efficient and effective procurement of goods and services on behalf of Council.
This function covers the procurement of goods issued from a Council store and for operational areas of Council if required, in line with policies, procedures and general work instructions. The role is also responsible for the efficient and effective operation of stores, including receiving and issuing of stores items and materials, along with management of non-stock material in accordance with policies and procedures, often requiring the use of judgement and problem solving to identify best practice. This is a permanent full-time position based at the Crows Nest Depot.
The annual salary range for this Level 3 position is $70,069.71 - $75,434.70 gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
