Job Details

You will be selling our MuleSoft portfolio of products into our Transport, Service and Communications accounts.

Role Description/Impact

We are currently looking for a curious and driven Strategic Account Executive to align to our Enterprise Business Unit. You will have knowledge of technology and solid business-to-business sales and account management experience.

Your Impact
MuleSoft offers a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will be empowered to sell Mule business applications solutions both direct to industry whilst also maximising in flight opportunities with the wider Salesforce core sales team, whereby you will act as a specialist.

You will work closely with current and prospective customers as a trusted digital advisor to deeply understand their unique company challenges and goals. You will advise customers on the MuleSoft Platform to promote solutions that will help them reach their business goals and blaze new trails within their organisations. You will contribute to our business growth in a fast paced, collaborative and fun atmosphere, as a valued member of our Ohana.

Your Qualifications

Consistent record of selling to C-level enterprise software or technology into accounts of more than 2000 employees; preferably from a SaaS background

In your first year, you can expect to:

Exceed your ramped annual sales quota and create a pipeline that will propel the growth of your business in the following year

Work with our global Sales Enablement team, who will partner with you through on-boarding and development programs that ensure your success.

Create your own territory plan, building demand and working on existing and newly created opportunities.

Become an expert in MuleSoft messaging, our sales approach, and our products and services.

Be surrounded by a team of fiercely motivated A-players who go above and beyond to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

What you’ll need to be successful:

5+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales, account management and virtual team leadership experience selling to IT and business leaders.

Experience driving large deals

Excitement around hunting greenfield territory and building your business from the ground up.

Strong focus on delivering customer success with a consultative, outcome-based sales approach.

Ability to travel 25% of the time.

Unafraid to give and get feedback across the business.
