About the Role
Classification: Locally Engaged Staff (LES)
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
Work Location: Victorian Government Trade & Investment (VGTI) office, London
Employment Type: Fixed Term – 2 years
A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional with an extensive background in providing business support in a geographically diverse organisation, together with a detailed understanding of the global business environment particularly as it relates to the UK and Europe, to join the Victorian Government Trade & Investment (VGTI) network.
Reporting to the Agent General to the UK and Commissioner to Europe and Israel, the successful applicant will be experienced in providing sophisticated and well-developed operational support and advice to new partnerships with the aim of expanding Victoria's influence within the UK, Europe, and Israel.
Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will possess:
An extensive background in providing strategic advice regarding trade and investment within a geographically diverse business environment.
Proven ability to manage complex and sensitive issues and the provision of considered, strategic advice and solutions within a short timeframe.
Excellent consultation and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish and maintain cross-sector partnerships.
Sound understanding of the statutory and regulatory environment in the UK and Europe as it relates to the operation of a foreign representative office.
The successful candidate for this locally engaged position will be responsible for all arrangements in relation to relocation expenses (if applicable), their accommodation and day-to-day living expenses.
