The Strategic Procurement Advisor will make a strategic contribution to the overall business by supporting the achievement of a sustainable Council through the provision of expert Strategic Procurement advice across Council’s procurement, leasing and contract processes.
The Advisor will strategically plan, deliver, guide and support procurement activities in partnership and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve value for money and mutually beneficial outcomes for the Council within a robust governance framework.
A relevant tertiary qualification in Procurement, Logistics, commerce, law or business. Experience and thorough knowledge of procurement activities, commercial acumen and negotiation skills, conflict resolution skills and relationship building skills.
