The role
Working in our Financial Strategy unit supporting the City, you will:
Improve the maturity of Strategic Asset Management for long term, ‘whole of life’ management of infrastructure assets which support the delivery of services
Support the development and management of multi-year renewal programs
Develop, implement and maintain effective Asset Management plans, policies, strategies and procedures
Provide recommendations, updates and support to a range of stakeholders
About You
Do you have a background in finance, economics, engineering or a related discipline and are seeking a new challenge?
To be successful in this position, you will:
Have a understanding of Asset Management principles, and the interrelation between assets and service delivery
Asset or capital works financial management exposure including multi-year project / program development and monitoring is beneficial
Experience in preparing and presenting high quality written and verbal reports to a variety of audiences,
Have a strong attention to detail, and be able to connect detailed financial data with written plans and strategies
A customer service focus and ability to collaborate and consult with managers, staff, contractors and volunteers in a team environment.
