Your new role
As the HSEQ advisor, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating HSEQ management systems to improve business performance and compliance. Your duties will include,
Review risk assessments and assist employees in developing awareness of these processes.
Develop and coordinate Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems to improve business performance and compliance.
Provide advice, information, and assistance in Health & Safety Compliance within a risk management framework to support Regulatory/Contractual/Company compliance and Community and other stakeholder objectives.
Improve performance and compliance in the field by conducting regular and systematic site attendance on workgroups and providing routine coaching and mentoring.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a similar role within construction or mining
Health and Safety or Risk Management or equivalent certification - Alternative extensive demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience in Health & Safety.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with experience of managing stakeholders at various levels regarding Health & Safety.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to create strong Health & Safety initiatives in response.
