This role will work closely with stakeholders, including consumers and carers to document and review current processes, pathways and supporting systems, and identifying opportunities for improvement and providing support to facilitate high quality health journey outcomes. This will occur through the superior use of project and change methodologies, tools and techniques to drive and embed value at the individual, service and system levels.Ensuring the principles and actions which underpin co-design and co-production at the commencement of the local diagnostic process will be a key driver for this position. The desired state for the NBM D&A service is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where access to care is not impacted by stigma or geography.The experience, voice and contribution of those with a lived experience of drug and or alcohol misuse will be the cornerstone of service development and integration. - Proven ability to forge partnerships, networks and achieve outcomes through engagement of multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary issues within the NSW and National Health Care agenda, including in the development of Drug and Alcohol services.
- Well developed organisational skills and capacity to manage and complete several works concurrently and achieve deadlines.
- High level oral, written communication skills and interpersonal skills with experience presenting complex information in a manner that is accessible and easily understood and preparing high quality briefings, reports and submissions in short times frames.
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience across a range of initiatives, working flexibly and independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather and analyse complex information, contribute to policy and or service development and change management.
- Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
