Detailed Job Description

The Strategy and Culture Specialist is responsible for seeking, creating, implementing and driving opportunities that enhance an employee’s experience across Adecco Defence Force Recruiting. This role is responsible for working with the Strategy and Culture Lead to drive initiatives, programs and activities that contribute to driving a unified culture across Defence Force Recruiting, and that align to the broader HR and Training People Strategy.

You will:

  • Assist in framing and driving a strategic approach towards advancing the culture of Adecco DFR.
  • Seek opportunities to implement and drive initiatives, programs and activities across the wider DFR organisation, contributing to a “One Team” culture working in partnership with the client
  • Work with the Strategy and Culture Lead to drive and manage the execution of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategies and plans.
  • Seek opportunities to enhance Adecco DFR’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP), engaging key stakeholders and consulting with the wider business to ensure any changes or additions are relevant and continue to enhance Adecco’s offering as an employer of choice.
  • Facilitate the delivery and continuous improvement of employee engagement surveys and action planning.
  • Coach leaders and managers on promoting Adecco DFR’s EVP and leveraging opportunities to drive a positive employee experiences.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the operational priorities and objectives of the wider DFR business, aligning programs, initiatives and activities to best suit the business’ current and future needs.
  • Develop, maintain and role model a culture that is open to change and innovation, and supports collaboration, respect and accountability.
  • Develop, manage and maintain a high service level client relationship through the provision of services that meet or exceed the expectations of Defence and the DFR Adecco contract, further encouraging a strong and ongoing relationship between Adecco and the Commonwealth of Australia.

Candidate’s Profile

To be successful in the Strategy and Culture Specialist position, you will be passionate about delivering exceptional people experiences. You will have a natural curiosity and willingness to innovate and improve frameworks, policies and practices to enhance our ways of working and improve employee engagement.

Your background will demonstrate:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or demonstrated experience.
  • Proven experience in driving culture-enhancing initiatives within a similar organization or industry.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices, with a focus on employee experience and Culture development.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
