We are seeking a talented professional to join us in the role of Strategy and Governance Office. This is a full time ongoing position based at our West Leederville Office.
The Role
The Strategy and Governance Officer provides leadership, proactive support and service in the development, execution and evaluation of CECWA’s Strategic Initiatives and the CEWA Governance Framework, across Catholic schools and offices.

- Salary range for this position is I1 to I4 on the CEO salary scale ($110, 590 - $123, 848 per annum) plus superannuation.

About you?
- Commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education
- Bachelor’s degrees in business administration, management, public administration, or related field. A postgraduate qualification or relevant professional certifications would be advantageous.
- Proven experience in formulating, implementing, and monitoring strategic plans that align with organisational goals and objectives.
- Experience in designing and implementing governance frameworks to enhance transparency, accountability, and risk management.
- Strong skills in policy analysis, development, and implementation.
- Ability to draft and review policies, ensuring they align with industry standards, legal requirements, and organisational goals.
- Proven ability to engagement effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate strategic initiatives.
- Capability to conduct thorough research to inform strategic decision making and Governance practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise reports, policy documents and strategic plans.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decision based on through analysis and critical thinking.
- Proven capability to address complex issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Experience working collaboratively within a team environment, contributing positively to team dynamics.
