SalaryWe have an excellent opportunity in a newly created Strategy, Communications and Change team within the Central Data team of our Commodities & Global Markets Group. You will partner with business and technology stakeholders to ensure we deliver on data strategy initiatives to provide timely, accurate and complete data. You will support across multiple large-scale projects, such as the implementation of a newly created data platform, and/or end-to-end capital and liquidity change initiatives.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Oversee and manage the evolution of the Commodities & Global Markets Data Strategy, assessing and updating with the impact of changes (high level what and why)
- Lead the development and delivery of communications strategies and effective delivery of internal comms (low level what and why)
- Lead and develop the Change Management Function / framework within CGM Data required to embed initiatives covering;
- Change impact assessment, stakeholder analysis, change intervention plans (who and how)
- Identify, develop and deliver training to support end users (adopt)
- Transition and adoption planning and evaluate success of change interventions (embed)
- Ensure teams are delivering on plans, maintaining schedules, reporting on progress, raising risks and issues, maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders
- Scoping change management work and making resourcing estimates to right size the team
The successful candidate will have a background in transformational data initiatives, ideally within financial markets (commodities trading, equities, derivatives, currencies, etc.) You will have experience working on large global transformations with structured and disciplined change management methodologies, frameworks, principles, and approaches. You will also have familiarity with the principles of data governance, and management of Critical Data, including identification and mapping of critical data attributes, and implementing data controls.
To execute the strategy seamlessly, you will be motivated, have an ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, and bring excellent verbal and written communication skills.
At Macquarie, we are working to a hybrid model. Successful candidates for this role will be working from our Sydney office at least 3x days per week, to support your development and strengthen your working relationships. Please ensure that if you are not based in Sydney, you have outlined if you are wishing to relocate, or otherwise.
