Your Team
CFS Strategy provides strategic advice to the business and its leaders, analyses the competitive environment and leads the business planning process. This includes working closely with the CFS Leadership Team to develop a long-term roadmap that delivers positive member outcomes and business growth. The Strategy team reports into the Group Executive, Strategy, Risk and Corporate Affairs.
Your Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, CFS Strategy, you will provide business insight and direction on the strategic issues facing our business and undertake analysis and research of key strategic initiatives.
You will achieve this by:
- Supporting key strategic projects and business initiatives to deliver to CFS's strategy.
- Leading the regular update of the CFS Business Plan and the annual Business Performance Review.
- Applying your problem-solving skills to the key priorities of the business
- Supporting the assessment of organic and inorganic growth initiatives, including M&A.
- Preparing presentations and papers for the Board and CFS Leadership Team discussions.
- Distilling strategic insights from industry syndicated research, industry papers, and analyst reports to CFS stakeholders.
Your Capability and Experience
- Strong knowledge of the Superannuation and Investments industry, including products, distribution channels and the regulatory landscape.
- Ability to obtain information from multiple sources, complete analyses and present the information in a clear and concise manner and into tangible business opportunities.
- Strong 'practical problem solving' through the application of strategic models and frameworks.
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, networking and influencing skills to build relationships and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
