ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking Regional Manager Strategy & Development on a permanent full-time position in Redfern. Reporting to the GM Strategy Development & Delivery, you will be leading the regional and metro development team across a large and varied development portfolio.
This position represents an opportunity to join and further expand the Development team as it continues on a strong growth trajectory.
Key responsibilities include:
You will oversee broad range of projects in residential (subdivision, apartments and affordable housing), commercial (retail and offices), community facilities and places of public worship. You will manage all aspects of Project delivery, inclusive but not limited to:
- Devise & negotiate capital management and commercial risk to meet best outcome for the project & organisation
- Provide leadership to your direct reports and for the projects, as well as dealing with key stakeholders
- Provide input into a National Missional Property Strategic Framework (NMPSF) in line with documented Missional objectives including risk analysis and any mitigation strategies
- Work with Mission Streams to source and procure external funding for property objectives
- Developing State based Property Strategies
ABOUT YOU
You are a pragmatic individual who loves to thrive in swift evolving environments. You have substantial experience managing a Portfolio of Property Projects including Capital Planning and Innovative Delivery solutions and has had exposure to large scale mix use projects at a senior level as well as;
Key Capabilities:
- A degree in property (construction, engineering) or property related business discipline is desirable.
- Prior experience in team management and possess strong stakeholder management capability.
- Excellent Project Management ability to understand construction and delivery process.
- Experience in developing and implementing property strategies to maximise use for financial and service user benefits.
- A strategic thinker and problem solver with proven track record in achieving deliverables on time and on budget.
- Knowledge or experience within the Not-For-Profit sector would be beneficial.
