As we continue to invest in our capabilities, we have a newly created role for a Business Process and Strategy Manager to join Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) on a permanent full – time basis.
As part of a newly created Digital Transformation Office and reporting to the Head of Digital Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing Southern Cross Care’s operational efficiency and service delivery, leading initiatives to streamline workflows, optimise Business Processes, and facilitate technology integration.
Working closely with various departments, you will analyse existing operations, identify areas for improvement and implement best practice solutions tailored to the unique challenges of aged care, with your efforts directly contributing to improving the quality of care for our residents whilst ensuring the sustainability and growth of our organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct in-depth evaluations of current Business Processes, pinpointing inefficiencies and potential enhancements, and craft and implement more efficient and effective workflows, especially designed for the complexities of aged care.
- Champion the adoption and seamless integration of digital innovations within all facets of Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) operating ensuring alignment with strategic objectives to enhance the quality of resident care.
- Collaborate with IT and departmental leaders to identify, evaluate and implement digital tools and systems that streamline workflows, improve data accuracy and facilitate a more connected and efficient care environment.
- Develop and maintain KPI’s for Business Processes utilising data to drive continuous improvement and adjust strategies in alignment with evolving care standards and operational goals.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to utilise existing technology to improve client, resident, and staff experience, and also providing recommendations or insights around new technology in line with the organisation’s strategy.
- Work closely with the Change Manager to implement strategic transformation initiatives ensuring that these new processes align with our mission and contribute to ta innovative, sustainable, and quality driven care environment.
Selection Criteria:
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent residency status essential (We do not offer sponsorship for this position)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information technology or similar
- Lean Six Sigma and / or Business Process Management certifications highly regarded
- Minimum 5 years of experience in roles focused on operational improvement, process optimisation, or related fields, demonstrating a strong foundation in enhancing business workflows and efficiencies.
- Strong experience with technological integration and training staff on new systems and processes.
- Experience in collaborating with diverse teams to promote innovation, enhance technology utilisation, and streamline operational processes, leading to tangible improvements in service delivery and organisational efficiency.
- Prior engagement in designing and implementing Business Process improvements aimed at improving customer experiences, streamlining operational processes, and achieving critical performance metrics across diverse sectors.
- Demonstrated ability in cultivating an environment of innovation, ongoing enhancements, and data-driven decision-making, contributing to the modernisation and progress of diverse industries.
