ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITYWe're looking for energetic Strength and Conditioning Coaches that will help our clients improve their overall fitness, while also helping clients improve or develop a particular skill or improve sports performance.
You will have exceptional communication skills with the ability to understand the unique needs of individual clients. You will need to be enthusiastic about Strength and Conditioning with the ability to “light the fire under athletes” to help push them beyond their current capabilities. You must be able to think on your feet and adjust your sessions when needed.
In this role you will:
- Coodinate and deliver S&C Sessions for clients of all ages and skill levels
- Construct strength, power and endurance based training schedules, both gym and field based, with components of testing as required
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Demonstrated expeirnece working with various sporting disciplines, in performance/gym training environments
- A Blue Card, Current First Aid & CPR certificates, and a Level 1 National Accreditation Scheme qualification in Strength and Conditioning (ASCA) or equivalent.
- Excellent knowledge of strength, power, and endurance-based training, including gym and field-based programs.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze sport-specific strength and conditioning requirements for athletes and teams.
- Proficiency in PC applications and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-initiative and the ability to work autonomously while maintaining a commitment to customer service excellence.
- Teambuildr software experience (desirable but not essential)
To increase your hours, opportuntiies are available to take on Group Training Classes (if you also hold a Cert IV in Fitness).
