The Opportunity
Join our exceptional team as a Structural Engineer and take the lead in designing geotechnical engineering projects by providing analyses and recommendations for bridges, retaining walls, buildings/structures foundations, underground works, ground treatments, and ground Engineering in general.
Supervise and manage subcontractors on geotechnical investigations, site testing and laboratory analysis, as well as ensuring the fluidity of planning, management and interpretation of soil investigation. And perform internal engineering analyses for shallow foundations, deep foundations, stability, and settlement of earthworks, fill retaining structures, preliminary seismic hazard assessments, and subgrade improvement technique.
Key responsibilities:
- Structural analysis and design by manual calculations and its cross-verification.
- Maintain accurate and updated drawings and documentation.
- Alert the Regional Manager or Project Manager about any design issues.
- Contribute actively to client meetings, offering technical expertise.
- Analyze specifications, plans, and technical data thoroughly.
- Collaborate with detailed design teams to ensure estimates align with project scopes and stakeholder expectations.
- Coordinate and communicate the client's needs to the rest of the design team.
About You:
- Proficiency in various computer and IT proprietary systems such as Plaxis, GeoSlope, RIDO, Slide, Leapfog, MS Excel, MS Word, AutoCAD, and other geotechnical software.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of structural design principles and practices.
