The Opportunity:

As a Facade Engineer - Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating facade engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your technical expertise while taking the first step into a management position. You will work closely with our clients, architects, and project teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality facade solutions. Responsibilities Include:

• Lead and manage a team of graduate facade engineers, providing guidance and support.
• Oversee the design, analysis, and implementation of facade engineering projects.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to understand project requirements and expectations.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to ensure project viability.
• Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Provide technical expertise and support to project teams.

The Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years’ experience in Australian Structural Engineering/design 
• Structural Engineering degree 
• DBP and CPEng accreditation
• Proven experience in facade engineering, with a strong technical background.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
• Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Experience with facade design software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in FEM software
• Knowledge of BIM for cross-discipline coordination purposes
