About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably experienced Technical Sales Consultant to join a well-established, progressive, Australian owned company. The role’s core focus involves servicing and development of our specialty industrial coatings maintenance and repair business (Belzona) throughout Western Australia. In particular, this role will be focused on the mining Industry and continuing to develop our strong presence in this very successful market for us. The applicant will also have the capability to market Rezitech’s extensive range of products into current and potential clients. An existing portfolio of clients will be handed over to the successful applicant for which they will be responsible for growing. So what does the role look like?
- Reporting into the National Sales Manager, this is an autonomous position for driven individuals
- Client visits to solve problems, promote products and maintain customer relationships
- Providing quotes and technical support to clients for products or services
- Problem solving for common issues around corrosion, erosion, abrasion and chemical attack.
- Canvassing your designated sales area for opportunities with new clients
- Maintaining client database and relevant reports to National Sales Manager
- Responsible for reaching achievable annual budget
- In depth product training will be provided on all products and services on offer to our clients.

For this position
Our Technical Sales team around the country have come from varied backgrounds and industries. Some previous experience within the mining or protective coatings industry is preferred however not essential. We have a fantastic onboarding program and will teach you all the skills you need to know for this role.

- Client visits to assess problems and provide best solutions
- Promote our various product ranges to clients
- Maintain good customer relationships
- Provide quotations to clients for various applications
- Assist in on site coating applications at client facilities
- Work with various team members to deliver best service for our clients
- Provide relevant reporting to management

- Some knowledge of the industrial coatings industry would be beneficial however not imperative. Some of our best sales technicians didn’t have previous industry experience but were willing to learn
