Position Description: Structural Steel Trades Worker (Full-time)
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000
Location: Everton Hills, QLD
Our dedicated team is looking for a suitable candidate who will perform:
Duties and Responsibility:
- Ability to decipher design specifications required to manually dig bore holes for steel posts.
- Select, prepare, and position steel posts for commercial and residential shade sails.
- Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines.
- Fabricating and making Structural Steel posts and other metal steel products such as metal anchor plates & wall fixings to building walls and reinforcing frames and trusses for installation of steel roof posts through roof tiles facias.
- Must be able to accurately measure steel posts for shade sails & membranes.
Requirements:
· Diploma qualification in related field and at least 2 years’ experience in the position previously
· Ability to work under pressure and without supervision.
· Team player
