- Base Salary $95, 860 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
The Faculty of Medicine and Health Education are looking for a Student Placements Officer to join their growing team on a fixed-term, full-time basis. This role will be a great opportunity to use your exceptional administrative and organisational experience to plan, organise, negotiate, and source Student Placements with a range of health partners.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- negotiate, source and coordinate Student Placements for specific units of study
- liaise with external and internal stakeholders to organise Student Placements
- provide support to academic staff to ensure placements are effectively managed
- use the placement management software, Sonia, to ensure that placements are being processed and delivered as effectively as possible
- provide support for both students and placement providers to ensure that a high quality, client-focused service is being provided.
About you
- strong administration background, preferably attained in a tertiary environment
- effective and tactful verbal and written communication skills
- strong problem-solving skills
- exhibits initiative and sound judgment
- excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve required outcomes
- great attention to detail.
