About the role
The Industry Placement Officer will coordinate and administer work integrated learning opportunities for our students. You will support and assist students to succeed in accessing these opportunities. This will involve the development and maintenance of relationships with external organisations and key internal stakeholders. You will also be responsible for ensuring accurate record keeping of placements and providing reporting on placement processes and outcomes.
The person we seek will ideally have the following:
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- The ability to network to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously, manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
- Student centric with excellent customer service skills
- IT literacy, preferably with student management systems or experience with InPlace
