Job description

*Gamma College: Sydney Campus Location 

This position is suited to a person with CRICOS and Counselling experience. The position is to support administration and Student Services as Gamma College grows.

The successful candidate will be a team player and:

  • Focused on the experience of our students.
  • Experience working with Axcelerate platforms.
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills
  • Strong attention to detail is a must.
  • Minimum 12 months experience in an office environment
  • Experience in an international education environment, especially in an RTO, would be an advantage.
  • Fluency in a second language is not essential but highly regarded.

Student Service Tasks and Duties:

  • Respond to inquiries from prospective international students and education agents in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate student admission documents received from education agents and international students.
  • Maintain all the data entries on the Student Management System
  • Handling office tasks
  • Providing scheduling support by booking appointments and preventing scheduling conflicts
  • Screening phone calls and taking messages.
  • Sign in, greet and assist visitors.
  • Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail and mail.
  • Help maintain student attendance records and files.
  • Assist with enrolments, USIs and Student ID’s
  • Identify and report continuous process improvements.
  • Assist students as required.
  • Assist the campus manager as required.
  • Orientation support
  • Support trainers Ordering and restocking stationery, uniforms and office supplies.
  • Monitor and report student tuition fees.
  • Admission Support 
  • Activities/excursion schedule arrangement.

Academic Support Tasks and Duties:

  • Updated the student’s result to Axcelerate
  • Monitoring student’s course progress.
  • Send warning letters each term and inform Admission team if enrolment need to cancel.
  • Work with Academic Manager and support the assessment upload task.
  • Contact student for support lessons.
  • Process certificates or Statement for the student.

Finance Support Tasks and Duties:

  • Record the student’s payment.
  • Monitoring outstanding payment and contact students.
